FALLS CHURCH, Va., Apr 29, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Naval Air Systems Command of the U.S. Navy has awarded a task order to DynCorp International (NYSE:DCP) under the Contract Field Teams (CFT) contract to provide equipment maintenance for the U.S. Navy Fleet Readiness Centers. The task order has a total value of $30 million.
Under the task order, Dyncorp International will provide maintenance, repair, overhaul and supply support for naval aviation support equipment. Work will be performed at 11 domestic U.S. locations (including sites in California, Florida, Maryland, North and South Carolina, Texas, Louisiana and Virginia) and 2 sites outside the United States. DynCorp International is the incumbent, and has a long term commitment to the U.S. Navy in support of this mission.
The one-year period of performance began April 19, 2009.
