DynCorp International Awarded Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP) Task Orders Valued at up to $13.2 Million
FALLS CHURCH, Va. - (July 12, 2012) - The 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron and the AFCAP Government Team has recently awarded DynCorp International (DI) three task orders under the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program III (AFCAP).
The three wins include:
- In Colorado Springs, Colo., DI supports the U.S. Air Force Academy by augmenting efforts of the existing local fire department. This task order award, awarded to DI March 7th, has a 196-day base period with a total value of $407,546.
- DI was awarded a task order to provide maintenance, repair, and limited minor construction of fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems in various base facilities supporting the Air Force in the United Arab Emirates. DI was the incumbent on this task order, which was awarded May 10th with a one-year base period and two, one-year options for a total value of $2.3 million, if all options are exercised.
- Beginning in August, DI will provide vehicle maintenance and materiel control support to the Air Force in Afghanistan. DI was the incumbent on this task order, which was awarded June 22nd and has a one-year base period with two, one-year options and a total value of $10.5 million, if all options are exercised.

AFCAP is a 10-year indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract to provide worldwide base-operating support and temporary construction capabilities for the U.S. Air Force on an as-needed basis.
